I studied Robotics and Cybernetics Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Algiers. I then joined INSA Toulouse to complete a postgraduate degree in Automatic Systems, before undertaking a doctoral thesis that led to a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Mines Saint-Étienne.

Tell Us a Guilty Secret:
I collect stringed instruments, including guitars, violins and ouds. From time to time, I even play them in public, right in the middle of town.

A guitar, a seawater desalinator, and, being an engineer, I’d invent a machine that cooks my meals for me.
